Notes :
What You Need To Know About Being A Patient At Bethesda Community Clinic

We offer two (2) types of health programs:
* Free Health Care

- We offer Free Saturday Health Clinics for people who qualify at 150% of the poverty level. Our goal is to offer Free Clinics every Saturday; however, the number of free health care visits that can be scheduled every week is dependent upon the number of medical volunteers available on any given Saturday. Therefore, all visits must be by appointment only.

- Once you have been pre-qualified for Free Health Care, you must bring proof of income, photo proof of identity and proof of Cherokee County residency and sign your paperwork in person with one of our Eligibility Specialists (ES).

* Low-Cost Health Care

- Anyone may schedule a weekday low-cost health care visit, regardless of income. No verification is necessary. Simply call the office, or you may walk in during our scheduled hours.

- Payment for the office visit is paid up front prior to seeing the medical provider. We accept cash, debit cards and credit cards.

- Payment for additional labs or procedures are paid at the end of the visit. Pricing for labs and procedures will be made available to you at the time of your appointment. We strive to keep prices as close to cost as possible, but they also depend upon the amount of community financial assistance we receive, as well as the number of donated supplies we receive.

Mission/Goal/history :

Bethesda Community Clinic is a Christ-centered 501(c)3 nonprofit dedicated to providing quality, affordable health care services to Cherokee County’s “working poor” (based on family size and income at or below 150% of the national poverty guidelines), as well as the uninsured and underinsured (people who can only afford major medical insurance).

Mission Statement

To demonstrate the compassion of Christ by providing quality healthcare to those in need, to be a healthcare home for people in need of affordable care, and a solution for our growing county’s burdened healthcare system.
